University President Scholarship
The University President Scholarship (UPS) is given to any student who has obtained a GWA of 1.00 to 1.20, with no failing grades or “D” mark in any subject, including NSTP/ROTC, carries a minimum load of eighteen (18) units and has no record of misconduct/misbehavior. The scholarship provides free full tuition and other school fees, a book allowance of P1,500 and a stipend of P6,000 for one semester. This is renewable every semester provided the student maintains the requirements cited and is enrolled in the same degree program he/she was previously registered.
University Scholarship
The University Scholarship (US) is given to any student who has obtained a GWA of 1.21-1.40, with no failing grades or “D” mark in any subject, including NSTP/ROTC, carries a minimum load of eighteen (18) units and has no record of misconduct/misbehavior. The scholarship provides free full tuition and other school fees for one semester. This is renewable every semester, provided the student maintains these requirements and is enrolled in the same degree program he/she was previously registered. This is also granted to incoming freshmen who graduated as Valedictorian in a high school with 45 graduates or more.
College Scholarship
The College Scholarship (CS) is given to any student who has obtained a GWA of 1.41-1.60, with no failing grades or “D” mark in any subject, including NSTP/ROTC, carries a minimum load of eighteen (18) units and has no record of misconduct/misbehavior. The scholarship provides free half tuition and other school fees for one semester. This is renewable every semester, provided the student maintains these requirements and is enrolled in the same degree program he/she was previously registered. This is also granted to incoming freshmen who graduated as Salutatorian in a high school with 45 graduates or more.
President Francisco Dalupan, Sr. Scholarship (PFDS)
Students graduating with Latin honors with a GWA of 1.60 or better, or its equivalent, with no grade lower than 2.00 in any academic subject and 2.50 in ROTC/NSTP, who wish to be admitted to the College of Law or Graduate School; and those who majored in Accounting and wish to be admitted to the UE Review School (UECRSS), are given free tuition for one semester. The scholarship is renewable every semester if the GWA is 1.60 or better, with no grade lower than 2.00 in the College of Law and 1.50 in the Graduate School .
UE-Tan Yan Kee Foundation, Inc. Scholarship
The University and the Foundation offer free full tuition fee for the first semester to incoming freshmen in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences-Manila, Business Administration-Manila and -Caloocan, Computer Studies and Systems, Engineering, and Dentistry. In addition, each scholar will receive these per semester: P1,500 book allowance; P1,000 uniform subsidy; and P200 monthly transportation allowance; as well as a P2,500 monthly stipend for ten 10 months. The scholarship is renewable every semester. A Full scholarship is given if the grantee has a GWA of 1.50 or better, with no grade lower than 2.50 in any subject, no failing grade in NSTP/ROTC and no “D” or “LFR” mark in any subject. Partial scholarship is given to a grantee whose GWA is 1.75 or better, with no grade lower than 2.50 in any subject, no failing grade in NSTP/ROTC and no “D” or “LFR” mark in any subject.

UNIVERSITY OF LUZON
Scholarship and Grants
TYPES OF FINANCIAL AIDS/SCHOLARSHIP GRANTS
1. Entrance Scholarships.
Students who graduated as Valedictorians from public or duly recognized private institutions are given 100% tuition scholarships for one semester. Students who graduated as Salutatorians from public or duly recognized private institutions are given 50% tuition scholarship for one semester.
2. Academic Scholarships
-
A scholarship consisting of free tuition fee for one semester shall be enjoyed by any undergraduate student of the University who maintains a general weighted average of 97-100 during the previous semester.
-
A seventy-five percent (75%) tuition scholarship shall be enjoyed by a student with a general average of 95-96.
-
A fifty percent (50%) tuition scholarship shall be enjoyed by students with a general average of 93-94.
-
A twenty-five percent (25%) tuition scholarship shall be enjoyed by students with a general weighted average of 91-92.
-
Academic scholarships are further subject to the following conditions:
-
An applicant for academic scholarship must have taken at least 18 units of credits during the semester and/or 6 units during summer.
-
All grades earned in all subjects shall be included in the computation of grades but must not have a grade lower than 2.0.
-
A student must apply to the Scholarship Committee on the dates indicated in the calendar and shall be endorsed by the Dean of his department.
-
It should be understood that academic scholarships are tuition scholarships only. The student is responsible for the payment of all other fees. R.L.E. fees, textbooks and uniforms are also the responsibility of the student.

Academic scholarships last for one semester but are renewable for the succeeding semester/s as long as the student meets the conditions prescribed for the scholarship grant.
3. Student Assistantship Grants
-
Service grants are given to needy and deserving students in the form of working appointments to various departments of the Institution on a semestral basis. In consideration for the services rendered by them, they are exempted from paying their tuition fees.

Interested students must apply in any of the colleges or departments where their skills may be most useful.
4. Cultural Scholarship.
The cultural scholarship is granted to students with special talents in music, dance, and in arts.
5. Educational Benefits.
This is given to children of the faculty members and employees with a 50% discount in all fees.
6. Athletic/Sports Scholarships.
These are given to qualified students who excel in sports and in athletic activities, and to those who are members of the varsity team.
7. Brothers/sisters Discount Benefits.
A discount on regular tuition fee is given to brothers/sisters enrolled in the University of Luzon.
8. CHED Administered Student Financial Assistance Program (STUFAPs).
The Commission on Higher Education provides educational opportunities to deserving students through various CHED Administered Student Financial Assistance Programs (STUFAPs).
A. Scholarship Programs
1. Higher Education Development Project (HEDP) – It is intended for the poor but academically bright Filipino students. The applicant should have obtained a percentile rank score of 90 or above in either General Scholastic Ability (GSA) or Entrepreneurial Skill in the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE) and must belong to the upper ten percent (10%) of the graduating class as certified by the school principal.
2. National Scholarship Program (NSP) – also known as the ?State Scholarship Program? intended for the poor but academically bright Filipino students.
Regional Scholarship Program (RSP) – Private Education Student Financial Assistance Program (PESFA) is intended for the poor but academically bright Filipino students enrolled in Private Higher Education Institution.
B. Grants-In-Aid Programs
1. Study Grant Program for Indigenous and Ethnic People – formerly known as the National Integration Study Grant Program (NISGP) and the Selected Ethnic Group Educational Assistance Program (SEGEAP) and it is for the qualified members of indigenous and ethnic communities.
2. CHED Study Grant Program for Congressional Districts (SSGP-CD) – for the qualified constituents of the Congressman Congressional Districts/Party Lists.
3. PESFA – Persons with Disability (PWD) Program. For qualified PWDs enrolled in college.
C. Students Loans
1. Study Now Pay Later Plan (SNPLP) – it is a scheme that extends loans or credit to qualified students.
2. PGMA – Higher Education Loan Program (HELP) – it provides assistance to financially needy 3rd year, 4th year and graduating college students and to qualified students whose allowance for tuition is delayed due to force majeur or other unforeseen/unavoidable circumstances.
3. SAFE-4-SR – it is a loan/program extended to financially needy students particularly those 3rd, 4th year and graduating students.
ABE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COLLEGE
Institutional Scholarships:
Amable M. Aguiluz Sr. Memorial Scholarship Grant
In memory of AMA Sr. this scholarship is for financially challenge but academically qualified students. Maximum of 1% of population per branch, application is subject for approval by the Chairman.

This scholarship is given to students of AMACU, AMACC Makati, and AMACC East Rizal who currently hold leadership roles or positions as president of the student council and editor-in-chief of the official student publication.
Qualification:
1. Currently enrolled with a minimum load of 15 units
2. President of the student council or editor-in-chief of the official student paper
3. GPA of 2.5 or better
4. No grade below 3.0, D, or UD on any course enrolled from previous term

1. 100% discount on tuition and laboratory fees for the president of the student council
2. 100% discount on tuition and laboratory fees for the editor-in-chief of the official school paper

1. To continuously enjoy the scholarship grant, the recipient must continuously hold the leadership position as president of the council or as editor-in-chief of the official student paper. The scholarship is deemed terminated upon removal from the position.

This scholarship is given to students of AMACU, AMACC Makati, AMACC East Rizal, and branches with at least 1,000 student populations, who are member of an athletic/ varsity team. This covers basketball players (men and women), volleyball players (men and women), and cheerleaders (men and women).
Qualification:
1. Currently enrolled with a minimum load of 15 units
2. Member of the athletic/ varsity team and participated in at least one national category competition
3. GPA of 3.0 or better for higher year level
4. Freshmen members GPA of 2.75 from previous term only
5. No grade below 3.0, D, or UD on any course enrolled from previous term
Benefits:
1. 100% discount on tuition and laboratory fees
2. 100% discount on all fees if the athletic/ varsity team wins first place in a national/ international competition (NAASCU) for the succeeding school year

1. To continuously enjoy the scholarship award, the recipient must continuously be an active member of the athletic team/ varsity and participates in all athletic event entered into by the campus. This scholarship is given to students of AMACU, AMACC Makati, and AMACC East Rizal who are members of the AMA chorale, AMA theater group, and AMA dance troupe.
Qualification:
1. Currently enrolled with a minimum of load of 15 units
2. Member of the AMA chorale, dance or theater group, and participated in at least one national category competition
3. GPA of 2.5 or better for higher year level
4. Freshmen members must have a GPA of 2.5 from previous term only
5. No grade below 3.0, D, or UD on any course enrolled from previous term
Benefits:
1. 50% discount on tuition and laboratory fees
2. 75% discount on tuition and laboratory fees if the group wins a national/ international competition for the succeeding school year
Terms and Conditions:
1. To continuously enjoy the scholarship award, the recipient must continuously be an active member of the chorale, dance, or theater group, and participates in all major competition entered into by AMA. Certificate of membership and participation signed by the School Director must be presented for renewal of scholarship.
2. Must maintain an annual GPA of 2.5 on a minimum load of 15 units per term
3. No grades below 3.0, D, or UD in any of the enrolled courses during the term

Scholarship awarded to academically qualified yet financially challenged students in the ration of 1 for every 500 students enrolled in AMAES schools/ campuses with more than 500 student population.
Qualification:
1. Currently enrolled with a minimum load of 15 units/ trimester or 18 units/ semester
2. GPA of 2.5 or better for higher year level
3. No grade below 3.0, D, or UD on any course enrolled from previous term
4. Annual gross family income of PHP 72,000 or less
5. Nominated by School Director

Any student who is interested and deserves a scholarship grants can avail himself/herself of any one of the scholarships available in the College. This type of scholarship is either full (100%) or partial (50%) tuition fee discount for one semester.
Procedures:
Applicant must be a bonafide student of BPC, carrying the load of 24 (minimum) to 30 (Maximum);

He/She must secure application form at the Guidance Office;

He/She must not obtain a grade lower than 2.0 in all subjects;

He/She must obtain and maintain a grade weighted average of 1.0 to 1.49 for full scholarship, and 1.5 to 1.75 for partial scholarship;

Applicants automatically enjoys scholarship upon approval of the application;

Failure to maintain the required average for the occurring semester will mean discontinuation of scholarship.

3. PGB. Scholarship
The PGB. Scholarship grants are financial assistance from the Provincial Government of Bulacan funded by the Office of the Governor.
4. Barangay Scholarship
As provided for in the pertinent provisions of the Local Government Code (R.A. 7160), the College offers Barangay (DILG) Scholarship to qualified students. Any student who is a child of a Barangay Official and has satisfactorily passed the College Entrance requirement is entitled for a full scholarship grant.
5. Private Scholarship
Private Scholarship grants are financial assistance from private individuals, institutions and organizations administered by the College and offered to poor but deserving students to cover full or partial tuition fee.
6. Cultural & Athletics Scholarship
Any player who is interested to undergo training from different sports and cultural events and has satisfactorily passed the requirements is entitled to a Full Scholarship Grants.
7. Board of Trustee Scholarship
A member of the BPC Board of Trustee is entitled to grant scholarship to only two (2) deserving student every semester.
8. Scholarship for Student Assistants
The College provides opportunities to students who have the time and skills to work as student assistants in various offices and earn wages at student rate to selected officer of Campus clubs and organizations.
Assumption College Scholarship
The Assumption College Scholarship Program provides quality education to deserving young women who excel in their academic performance but cannot afford to go to college. It also gives educational opportunities to high school honor students and athletes who bring pride to the school. It also extends its assistance to the dependents of Assumption employees.
Scholarship Grants and Aids
A. Academic Scholarship
This grant is given to high school valedictorians and salutatorians primarily on the basis of merit. Valedictorians are given 100% tuition fee discount while the salutatorians are granted a 50% tuition fee discount. Academic scholars are required to be in the Dean's List (either as a First Honors or Second Honors student) for two consecutive semesters to be able to renew the scholarship.
B. Financial Aid Scholarship
This scholarship type is given to financially needy yet deserving students who seek the aid of the college to be able to study in AC. They usually come in the form of 100% tuition fee discount with or without dormitory assistance. The percentage of discount given is based on solid academic records and actual financial need coupled with potential service as a student assistant and college scholar. They are required to maintain a GPA of 2.0, with no grade lower than 2.5 in major subjects and 2.7 in general education subjects. They have to fulfill a certain number of service hours in a semester in any college office.
C. Athletic Scholarship
This grant is offered to athletes who excel well in their fields of concentration (as athletes) and manage to achieve good grades at the same time. They directly apply to the Athletics Department wherein their papers are processed and the corresponding tests and qualifications are administered. The Athletics Department determines the approval and distribution of these grants. Certification of scholarship however comes from the Scholarship Desk where the papers are finally forwarded and evaluated.
D. Educational Assistance for Assumption College Employees
This grant is available to children of regular employees of the Assumption College. An employee can apply for a maximum of five dependents for this grant. Percentage of discounts varies on the number of dependents receiving the grant. Interested employees apply at the HR-Benefits Office and go through a different set of procedures as set in Employment Guidelines and Procedure Manual.
Recruitment and Criteria for Selection
The program has a yearly recruitment period during the second semester. Applicants should have a high average rating in the Assumption College Admission Test (ACAT). Scholarship application forms are given to interested applicants but shall be processed after the deadline of application at the end of February. (Please check Assumption College website for Admission procedures and testing dates).
The following are the documentary requirements that should be appended to the scholarship application form:
a. Certificate of employment and remuneration from employer of parents/guardians. For self-employed parents – a business description and most recent financial statement. For retired parents – a certification stating the amount of retirement / separation benefits. For unemployed parents – Certification of Non-filing of ITR and utility bills
b. Photocopy of latest Income Tax Return (ITR) of each employed / self-employed parent
c. Photocopy of HS Form138 (report card) for incoming freshman.
d. 2 recommendation letters (preferably from school authorities of previous school (e.g. principal), guidance counselor, class adviser, teacher
e. Personal letter of both applicant and parent/s explaining the need for financial assistance.
Forms with incomplete requirements will not be processed
Applicants shall be short-listed based on the initial data gathered from the application form. Those who shall be selected shall proceed to the proper screening process of interviews and home visitation for thorough background check. A final recommendation of successful applicants shall be made for the approval of the College Dean.

SAINT FERDINAND COLLEGE
BOT Scholarship
The BOT Scholarship slot is to be determined by the individual trustee provided that the candidates/applicants for the foregoing scholarship should posses the following quaifecations. The grantee for this scholarship is entitled to free tuition fee including computer and science laboratory fee.
Parish Scholarship
The Parish Scholarship by virtue of BR#91, s 1998 intends to help the poor feeder parishes. The qualified parish scholars are entitled to 100% tuition fee discount only. This scholarship is applicable only for those who have not earned any college degree yet. This shall not cover second coursers. The Feeder Parish Scholarship slot is to be determined by the concerned Parish Priest provided that the candidate/applicants for the foregoing scholarships should possess the needed qualifications.
P.D. 451 Scholarship (Student-Aide)
The P.D. 451 Scholarship Slot is to be determined by the administartion. The P.D. 451 scholar by virtue of BR#16, s. 1990 is entitled to free tuition fee including miscellaneous and other fees. The candidates/applicants for the foregoing scholarship should possess the needed qualifications.
Academic Scholarship for College
To qualify for an academic scholar in the tertiary level, either Full Academic Scholar or Half Academic Scholar, the applicant must meet the needed criteria.
SFC Alumni Scholarship
The St. Ferdinand College Alumni Association (SFC AA) as part of its service to the institution grants scholarship to poor deserving students who are interested to obtain college education. The scholarship offers free tuition fee for a macimum of 21 units only and miscellaneous fee including laboratory fee. There are only four (4) slots for Alumni Scholarship. Only after a grantee shall have graduated will new slots be opened to applicants. Applicants shall me ranked according to the criteria below and the one with the highest rank will be given the vancant slot. The qualified applicants will be subject for interview by the President of the SFCAA and the VP for Academic Affairs.

Career Guidance Scholarship
This scholarship may be availed by students who enrolled in the college as a result of the Career Guidance activities and are recommended by the Guidance Counselors of the secondary schools.
The resommended should come from the upper 25% of the graduating class.
The scholarship is non-transferable.
The scholarship is renewable until the course is finished under the following conditions:
GWA not lowers 85% at the end of every semester

Performing Arts and Athletics Scholarship
This scholarship is given to outstanding performance in the Sports fest and performing arts as recommended by the departmental sports coordinators and deans and approved by the Board of Trustees.
Student Assistant Scholarship
This is given to students who are willing to render a minimum of 20 hours of work per week or a total of 360 hours for the whole semester in identified units and offices of the College renewable every term, subject to the following conditions:
Applicant must have at least one semester of residence in the college.
